With a history of centuries, this ancient but completely renovated Tuscan residence dominates the historic center of San Quirico d’Orcia. The house, dating back to at least the early 1000s, was one of the very first in town and in fact it also contains the ancient cistern of the village. It stands on five floors, and is divided into three independent apartments, equipped with every comfort: Poggio 1, Poggio 2 and Poggio 3.
Our structure is pet-friendly and children of all ages are welcome. Parking is free and just a few minutes walk away, being in the historic center. However, guests of the property are entitled to a special 15 minutes permit for loading and unloading luggage at check-in and check-out.

Zone description
In a strategic position to visit the wonders of the Val d’Orcia, San Quirico is located halfway between Pienza and Montalcino, villages rich in art and history. But San Quirico alone contains within its territory pearls such as: the Chapel of the Madonna di Vitaleta, Gladiator’s house, the suggestive spa village of Bagno Vignoni – Vignoni alto. Without thinking that it is very close to the natural park of Monte Amiata, the natural spa of Bagni di San Filippo, immersed in the woods, the village of Monticchiello, famous for its pici and its “teatro povero”, and the wonderful medieval city of Montepulciano.
